Help 100 rickshaw pullers buy their own rickshaws and form a cooperative.
The Current Reality
- Rickshaw pullers pay 100-150 BDT daily rent to owners
- Work 12+ hours just to pay rent and earn survival wages
- No ownership, no security
The Cooperative Model
- Pullers own their rickshaws collectively
- No more rental payments
- Earnings go to pullers, not owners
- Health insurance through cooperative
- Retirement savings
Funding Needed
- 100 new rickshaws: 30 lakh BDT
- Cooperative registration and setup: 2 lakh BDT
- Training and capacity building: 3 lakh BDT
